Archet Finance is run by Andrew Cooke BSc (Hons) A.C.A MBA F.CA. After reading Economics at the University of Warwick, Andrew’s interest in business was triggered by his grandfather, who used to lead a local confectionary business based in the East of England. Since then, Andrew has further developed his passion and enthusiasm for business. Andrew is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in England Wales and has spent over 30 years successfully advising and growing businesses and brands. Having initially started his first 10 years of his career at BDO and Deloitte in London across both Audit, corporate and personal tax, restructuring and the Mergers and Acquisitions teams, he went on to obtain an MBA from the University of Warwick. He went on to successfully advise a number of companies on raising both public and private investment, funding solutions, London Stock Exchange Listings, share issues, buy backs, and advising on a significant number of mergers and acquisitions. Over the last 20 years, Andrew has operated in a number of Senior Leadership roles within Tesco, Premier Foods, Fidus Group, Waitrose and the John Lewis Partnership and more recently has been partnering both owner and private equity backed businesses in growing them and delivering exceptional value. Recent examples include Bob Martin and Childs Farm.

Andrew lives with his wife and their 3 children in Sherborne Dorset and in his spare time, enjoys keeping fit, is a keen cyclist (aka as a MAMIL!) and loves the outdoors.
